Registration will open 04/20/2026.  An earlybird registration fee is in effect until 5/4/2025 for Members.  A late fee of $75 goes into effect on 5/31/2025.

Sign in begins at 8:00 AM.  Meeting starts promptly at 9:00 AM.

Continuing Education - One Tract Hybrid ABO & NCLE Education

Price includes 6 hours of continuing education and lunch.

Zoom Webinar is available for the Continuing Education session.  You must register online by 05/30/2025 to participate via Zoom and a $50 Zoom fee will be added to the costs shown above.

Apprentice ABO Review - NO ZOOM AVAILABLE

Members - $155   Non-Members - $280

Jackie O'Keefe is licensed in Virginia and has been in the Optical industry since 1981. She is a course preparer on quantumoptical.com and an ABO and AOA speaker.  She is a second-generation Optician along with her two sisters, Candace O'Keefe and Laure O'Keefe Pierce. Jackie is Past President of the Opticians Association of Virginia and a founding member and Past President of the Opticians Association of Maine.   Thomas Neff is a Board Certified Optician in Florida. He has a Bachelors in Technical Education and Industry Training, and a Master’s Degree in Career and Technical Education both from the University of Central Florida. He is presently an Assistant Professor at Hillsborough Community College. Thomas is a Board Member of the United Opticians Asociation.

Barbara is a dedicated licensed dispensing optician and Assistant Professor at Miami Dade College’s School of Health Sciences, where she teaches in the Opticianry Program. With over a decade of experience spanning clinical practice, optical education, and healthcare management, she is passionate about shaping the next generation of eye care professionals. Her teaching focuses on combining technical expertise with exceptional patient care and customer service.
