No Refund Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made from Opticians Association of Kentucky.

By completing a purchase, you agree to this policy.

All sales are final. Refunds will not be issued.

If for some reason you cannot make it to the continuing education session for which you registered, we will transfer your registration to a future continuing education session within the licensing renewal cycle.

Transfer requests must be received within 60 days of the original meeting date to be eligible for resolution.

To report an absence and request transfer to a future continuing education session, within the same licensing renewal cycle, please contact us at Info@OpticiansKy.com with your name, license number, and details.

Opticians Association of Kentucky reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Please review it regularly.

Forget everything else you have been told.  This is the definitive answer.

Upload a copy of your paid receipt for the meeting(s) you attended, select SDOK (nka OAK) as the provider, enter the date of the meeting, and total number of hours attended.  There is no need to list each class/hour separately.

OAK maintains a report of all individuals who participated in continuing education during a given year for the Kentucky Board of Opthalmic Dispensers.

Your receipt is available on our Website in your account.

Login to your account.

• Select “View Invoice/Registration History” from the left menu.
  
  
• Select the invoice you wish to view/print.  This will enable you to save it as a PDF to upload or print and scan for upload.

Upon application, the board will grant inactive status to a qualified licensee.

• While on inactive status, the licensee shall not engage in the practice of ophthalmic dispensing.
  
  
• The fee for licensure on inactive status shall be thirty-five (35) dollars per year.
  
  
• Continuing education requirements shall be waived for a licensee on inactive status during the inactive period.
